Women's Health: Reducing Maternal Morbidity and Mortality Globally

On 26th of November 2018, FoMSF Glasgow invited a series of speakers to talk about their own personal experiences in the maternal healthcare system abroad. We were lucky to have Ms Joanna Knight, Dr Rennie Urquhart and Dr Jane Bell who shared their expertise working with MSF from Obs&Gyn in Central Africa and South Sudan to HIV/AIDS projects in Kenya. It was also eye-opening to hear from Dr Safiya Noor Dhanani, who ran a workshop on gender-based violence.
